SERP Lens 2.0 turns the SEO browser into a connected workspace for live analysis, AI-assisted investigation, and repeatable audits. It brings the page you are viewing, the signals behind it, and the tools needed to act on those signals into one place.

The release introduces a redesigned desktop experience, deeper Google Search Console context, an AI panel that works with the live page, and new ways to run SERP Lens audits from your own tools and workflows.

An AI that sees the page you see

The new AI panel opens with the current page's analysis already in context. Instead of copying HTML, screenshots, and audit results into a separate chat, you can ask questions while SERP Lens examines the live render and runs the relevant tools.

Tool activity remains visible in the conversation, so you can see what was checked and what came back. The assistant can investigate and propose fixes, while changes to your website remain under your control.

Audits beyond the desktop app

SERP Lens 2.0 adds a standalone MCP server and CLI through @serplens/mcp. This lets compatible assistants and development workflows run SEO audits directly, including automated checks in CI before a regression reaches production.

Standalone audits evaluate the HTML source. When connected to a running SERP Lens desktop app, the bridge can also provide the rendered DOM after JavaScript has executed—an important distinction when diagnosing JavaScript SEO problems.

A faster workspace for daily SEO work

The desktop shell has been rebuilt around a consistent navigation rail, search, unified analysis panels, and faster access to location, device, VPN, and search settings. Network tracing and browser keyboard shortcuts make it easier to investigate a page without breaking focus.

SERP previews, structured-data validation, accessibility checks, JavaScript auditing, robots.txt analysis, and the rules engine remain part of the same browsing workflow. The result is less context switching between disconnected tools and a clearer path from finding an issue to explaining it.

Search Console context where it matters

Google Search Console data now sits alongside SERP Lens analysis for the URL you are viewing. You can compare Google's indexing verdict with the technical signals detected on the page and inspect performance context without leaving the browser.

That shared view helps teams distinguish between a page that is technically indexable and a page that Google has not indexed, making the next investigation—and the next ticket—more precise.
